This policy sets out prohibited uses of Meridian. It supplements the Terms of Service.
Fair housing
You may not use Meridian to screen, approve, or reject applicants based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status, disability, or any other characteristic protected under the Fair Housing Act or applicable state/local law.
Apply your screening criteria consistently to every applicant. Meridian's screening workflow requires you to acknowledge consistent application of your criteria before recording a decision — this policy is the standard that acknowledgment refers to.
Screening data
Only enter applicant screening information you lawfully obtained (typically with the applicant's written consent, directly from the applicant or a licensed screening provider). Do not use Meridian to store data from a consumer report obtained without a permissible purpose under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Prohibited conduct
No unlawful, fraudulent, or harassing use; no attempts to access other users' accounts or data; no interference with the security or availability of the service; no reverse engineering of the platform.
Enforcement
Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account, as described in the Terms of Service.
